Annnnndddd its 8 o clock on a Sunday morning. And I'm the only one awake. Its rather glorious, actually, just sitting about, blogging, big mug of oatmeal next to me, with the food network on. Gotta love it. Sometimes I wonder if this is how I'll be on a Sunday morning for the rest of my life. Probably not, but I can still dream, no?

Ehhh so this weekend was nothing special. My original plans to go to waterfire on Saturday night were ruined. I was dragged to a no-name bowling alley in Johnston. Not that it was all bad, but I really wanted to see all of you (or you who were there) last night. I suppose I must go to the last one on Oct. 6

Speaking of dates, the annual Walk-a-thon is on THURSDAY! huzzah! I mean 'uh rah rah!'
I propose we all walk together in a giant clob. It could be fun!

So I finally got my book in the mail! Entitled '99 ways to sew and deck out your denim,' it shows you 99 ways you can transform any old pair of jeans. There are some really cool things in there, too, but alas, I have no sewing machine, so I've only been able to make one thing, stitched by hand. Cabby, do you have an old sewing machine (that still works, mind you) and that you're interested in getting rid of? Anyone??? Cabby you'd have to teach me how to use it, anyway. =)

OH OH OH!! Guess what? I just got my new issue of Seventeen Magazine, and there's a contest in it. And its the first contest I've ever had any desire to enter. Its the Reader Model Contest. The winner gets chosen to do a photo shoot for Seventeen and gets a 10,000 dollar contract with Ford Models. They're looking for girls and guys of all shapes and sizes, so it finally doesnt matter that I'm only JUST UNDER 5'3''. YAYY! But I'm still trying to figure out what to wear, and where to take the pictures (I need three- two close ups with one smiling, and one full length). Suggestions, please?? I'm such a mess....I dont even know my basic measurements!!

And I've been thinking of changing my hair. Short, maybe?
